The DanTysk offshore wind farm, situated west of the island of Sylt and directly on the German-Danish border, is one of the first large-scale offshore wind farms ever built in the German North Sea, For this project Muller provided towage and supplied their barge "10033-1" to built and transport the Topside also called offshore hotel.
Here, Vattenfall will have one crew servicing both wind farms from the accommodation platform, letting the workers live close to work. Working 365 days a year in two-week shifts, they will look after operation and servicing of the wind farms’ 150 turbines.
